Our Kidz ClosetsFostering Hope Florida accepts donations for foster children through our two Kidz Closets. The Kidz Closet was founded by Lynny McKeown, a former Hope House foster parent and current foster parent. McKeown started this program to help foster parents acquire gently used clothing and toys.
A majority of the time, children in foster care leave their biological families with nothing but the clothing on their back. The state of Florida gives minimal funding for new families to purchase clothing, that is where we come in. The Kidz Closet is here to offset the costs of clothing and other necessities. We accept gently used clothing, toys, baby furniture, toiletries, and accessories from smoke free environments. |
